The South Kingstown Rebels basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting La Salle Academy Rams to 41 in the Rebels league victory on Wednesday.

The Rebels now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westerly for a State Championship contest on Tuesday, January 24. South Kingstown will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-23 league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-11.

The Rams (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Bulldogs come into the State Championship contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Westerly was defeated by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 56-38, in a league contest.
