Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the New West Charter Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks (Los Angeles, CA), saw New West Charter's basketball squad overcome Math & Science College Preparatory by a tally of 40-20.

With the victory, New West Charter improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Middle College (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Cougars in a Crosstown challenge on Friday, January 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 1-4.
