In Wednesday's league match, the host Menlo-Atherton Bears basketball team scored a decisive 47-17 triumph over the Sequoia Ravens.

In their next game, the Bears meet the Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA) in a Peninsula - South match, on Friday, January 20. Menlo-Atherton will attempt to better on its 13-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 7-8 record after their 60-40 league loss to Carlmont (Belmont, CA).

With the defeat, Sequoia moves to 8-6 on the year. The Ravens travel to Carlmont (Belmont, CA) to meet the Scots in a Peninsula - South match on Friday, January 20. The Scots enter the match with a record of 9-4. Carlmont won 60-40 in their recent league match against Woodside (Woodside, CA)
