Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Riverside overwhelms Blue Ridge
January 18, 2024: Taylor, PA 18517 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) and the visiting Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA), saw Riverside's basketball squad wallop Blue Ridge by a tally of 73-42.
With the victory, Riverside improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Lakeland (Jermyn, PA) to play the Chiefs in a Lackawanna 3 challenge on Monday, January 22. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Lakeland lost 60-45 in their recent league challenge against Mid Valley (Throop, PA)
Next up, the Raiders play the Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA) in a Lackawanna 4 challenge, on Monday, January 22. Blue Ridge will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record.
