Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA), 62-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Vikings host Lakeland (Jermyn, PA) to play the Chiefs in a Lackawanna 3 bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 8-13. Lakeland lost 51-48 in their recent league bout against Mid Valley (Throop, PA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA) in a Lackawanna 4 bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 17-4 season record. The Meteors go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 72-30 league win over Forest City (Forest City, PA).
