East Grand Forks Green Wave (East Grand Forks, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fosston Greyhounds (Fosston, MN), 77-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Grand Forks upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Green Wave travel to Wadena-Deer Creek (Wadena, MN) to play the Wolverines in a AA Section 8 bout on Saturday, January 20. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Wadena-Deer Creek won 80-35 in their recent non-league bout against Sebeka (Sebeka, MN)
