The Poolesville Falcons basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans to 37 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sherwood for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Poolesville will meet a Warriors team coming off a 60-52 non-league win over Wootton (Rockville, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 11-2.

The Trojans (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Whitman (Bethesda, MD). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Whitman ran past Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD), 58-53, in a league contest.
