Maryland High School Basketball - Quince Orchard nips Gaithersburg
February 2, 2024: Gaithersburg, MD 20878 Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD), 41-38 in a league bout.
With the victory, Quince Orchard upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD) to play the Screamin' Eagles in a Montgomery 4A West bout on Monday, February 5. The Screamin' Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-11. Seneca Valley won 56-54 in their recent league bout against Northwest (Germantown, MD)
Next up, the Trojans play the Einstein Titans (Kensington, MD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Gaithersburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 51-47 league loss to Northwood (Silver Spring, MD).
