The Northwest Jaguars basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Poolesville Falcons to 57 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Friday.

The Jaguars now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gaithersburg for a Montgomery 4A West match on Tuesday, February 13. Northwest will meet a Trojans team coming off a 68-62 league win over Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD). The Trojans record now stands at 5-10.

With the defeat, Poolesville moves to 9-11 on the year. The Falcons travel to Magruder (Rockville, MD) to meet the Colonels in a Montgomery 3A/2A North match on Tuesday, February 13. The Colonels enter the match with a record of 17-2. Magruder won 75-70 in their recent league match against Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD)
