In Thursday's league match, the visiting Hurricane Redskins basketball team scored a tight 67-60 triumph over the South Charleston Black Eagles.

In their next game, the Redskins meet the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) in a Mountain State match, on Tuesday, January 23. Hurricane will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 3-8 record after their 66-35 non-league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY).
