January 27, 2024: South Charleston, WV 25309 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) and the visiting Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV), saw South Charleston's basketball squad overcome Greenbrier East by a tally of 61-45.
With the victory, South Charleston improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Black Eagles host Capital (Charleston, WV) to confront the Cougars in a Mountain State challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Capital lost 87-63 in their recent league challenge against Spring Valley (Huntington, WV)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Greenbrier East will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record.
