The Veritas Christian Academy Warriors basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors to 60 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nebo Crossing Academy for a Western Piedmont contest on Monday, January 22. Veritas Christian Academy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-49 non-league loss to Union Grove Christian (Lexington, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-4.
