January 18, 2024: Elgin, IL 60123 The South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) basketball knocked off the host Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), 61-47 in Thursday's league test.
The Storm (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Raiders go into the Upstate Eight test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Glenbard South went down by Minooka (Minooka, IL), 56-44, in a non-league test.
The Royals now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they travel to St. Charles East for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Larkin will encounter a Fighting Saints squad coming off a 56-53 league win over Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 6-13.
