January 23, 2024: South Elgin, IL 60177 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) and the visiting Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL), saw South Elgin's basketball squad hold off Glenbard East by a tally of 63-58.
With the victory, South Elgin improves its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Storm host Streamwood (Streamwood, IL) to confront the Sabres in a Upstate Eight challenge on Friday, January 26. The Sabres come into the challenge with a record of 1-21. Streamwood lost 74-43 in their recent league challenge against Elgin (Elgin, IL)
Next up, the Rams confront the West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL) in a Upstate Eight test, on Friday, January 26. Glenbard East will attempt to advance on its 8-13 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 6-16 record after their 50-37 league win over Larkin (Elgin, IL).
