In Thursday's league match, the host Severance Silver Knights basketball team scored a decisive 65-30 triumph over the Roosevelt Roughriders.

In their next game, the Silver Knights meet the Frederick Golden Eagles (Frederick, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak match, on Saturday, January 20. Severance will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 7-6 record after their 67-66 league win over Thompson Valley (Loveland, CO).
