Colorado High School Basketball - Severance crushes Niwot

January 30, 2024: Severance, CO 80550

Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Niwot Cougars (Niwot, CO), 69-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Severance upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Silver Knights travel to Fort Morgan (Fort Morgan, CO) to clash with the Mustangs in a 5A/4A Longs Peak bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-16. Fort Morgan lost 64-57 in their recent league bout against Mountain View (Loveland, CO)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Skyline Falcons (Longmont, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak bout, on Thursday, February 1. Niwot will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 57-47 league win over Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO).
