Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), 41-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The host International High School at Largo (Largo, MD) to face the Sea Turtles in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A game on Friday, January 19. The Sea Turtles enter the game with a record of 0-4. International High School at Largo lost 2-0 in their recent league game against Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD)

With the defeat, Central moves to 2-7 on the year. The Falcons travel to Crossland (Temple Hills, MD) to face the Cavaliers in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A game on Friday, January 19.
