Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Timberlake Christian Tornadoes (Forest, VA) and the visiting New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), saw Timberlake Christian's basketball squad overcome New Covenant by a tally of 18-9.

With the victory, Timberlake Christian improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA) to play the Crusaders in a challenge on Monday, January 22. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Temple Christian won 23-6 in their recent league challenge against Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA)
