Nevada High School Basketball - Fernley victorious over Lowry

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Fernley Vaqueros basketball team scored a good 66-54 triumph over the Lowry Buckaroos.

The Vaqueros (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Dust Devils go into the 3A Northern - East contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Dayton topped Churchill County (Fallon, NV), 49-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Buckaroos confront the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) in a 3A Northern - East contest, on Friday, January 24. Lowry will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 14-5 record after their 53-34 non-league win over Hug (Reno, NV).
