Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN), 71-59 in a league match.

With the victory, Richfield upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN) to face the Huskies in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 10-5. St. Anthony Village won 68-37 in their recent non-league match against Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN)

The Stars now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fridley for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Academy of Holy Angels will face a Tigers squad coming off a 76-62 non-league loss to Austin (Austin, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 5-9.
