Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS), 47-16 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Morton advances its record to 16-5 on the year. The Panthers travel to Forest (Forest, MS) to face the Bearcats in a 4A Region 5 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Bearcats enter the match with a record of 9-9. Forest lost 49-36 in their recent league match against Quitman (Quitman, MS)

The Titans now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neshoba Central for a 6A Region 2 match on Thursday, January 23. Ridgeland will face a Rockets squad coming off a 66-41 non-league loss to Chelsea (Chelsea, AL). The Rockets record now stands at 11-12.
