Virginia High School Basketball - Charles J. Colgan fells Riverbend
January 19, 2023: Fredericksburg, VA 22407 Charles J. Colgan Sharks (Manassas, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA), 52-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Charles J. Colgan upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Sharks host Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA) to play the Red Wolves in a Eastern bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Gar-Field won 49-41 in their recent league bout against Hylton (Woodbridge, VA)
Next up, the Bears play the North Stafford Wolverines (Stafford, VA) in a Commonwealth bout, on Friday, January 20. Riverbend will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 48-37 league loss to Brooke Point (Stafford, VA).
