In Thursday's league outing, the Kern Valley Broncs (Lake Isabella, CA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA), by a margin of 41-39.

The Broncs (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA). The Huskies go into the High Desert outing with a 2-9 record. In their last outing, Mammoth was tipped by Rosamond (Rosamond, CA), 61-15, in a league outing.
