California High School Basketball - Desert overwhelms California City

December 16, 2022: Edwards AFB, CA 93523

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA) and the visiting California City Ravens (California City, CA), saw Desert's basketball squad wallop California City by a tally of 58-18.

With the victory, Desert improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Bishop Union (Bishop, CA) to play the Broncos in a High Desert challenge on Friday, December 23. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Bishop Union lost 52-47 in their recent league challenge against Rosamond (Rosamond, CA)

Next up, the Ravens play the Mammoth Huskies (Mammoth Lakes, CA) in a High Desert challenge, on Wednesday, December 21. California City will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 46-10 league loss to Boron (Boron, CA).
