The Somerset Academy Losee Lions basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Virgin Valley Bulldogs to 40 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Del Sol for a 3A Southern - Desert contest on Wednesday, January 25.

The Bulldogs (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (Henderson, NV). The Falcons enter the 3A Southern - Desert contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas ran past Pinecrest Academy Cadence (Henderson, NV), 58-28, in a non-league contest.
