In Wednesday's league outing, the Somerset Academy Losee Lions (North Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad felled the host Del Sol Dragons (Las Vegas, NV), by a margin of 57-48.

The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Moapa Valley (Overton, NV). The Pirates enter the 3A Southern - Desert match with a 16-6 record. In their last match, Moapa Valley overcame Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV), 34-32, in a league match.

With the defeat, Del Sol moves to 11-12 on the year. The Dragons travel to Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (Henderson, NV) to meet the Falcons in a 3A Southern - Desert match on Friday, January 27. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 7-14.
