Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT) and the host Kennedy Eagles (Waterbury, CT), saw Ansonia's basketball squad hold off Kennedy by a count of 70-67.

With the victory, Ansonia upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT) to play the Condors in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. The Condors come into the challenge with a record of 1-6.
