Michigan High School Basketball - Corunna trounces Brandon
January 19, 2024: Corunna, MI 48817 The Corunna Cavaliers (Corunna, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Brandon Blackhawks (Ortonville, MI), 53-31 in Friday's league test.
The Cavaliers (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Clio (Clio, MI). The Mustangs go into the Flint Metro test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Clio walloped Owosso (Owosso, MI), 60-48, in a league test.
The Blackhawks now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to International Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23. Brandon will encounter a Phoenix squad coming off a 60-39 league loss to Genesee Christian (Burton, MI). The Phoenix record now stands at 7-4.
