January 19, 2024: Grand Saline, TX 75140 The Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Chisum Mustangs (Paris, TX), 63-55 in Friday's league test.
The Indians (11-16) will now prepare for their test against Rains (Emory, TX). The Wildcats go into the 3A Region II District 12 test with a 16-10 record.
The Mustangs now own a 20-9 record. They play next when they travel to Rains for a 3A Region II District 12 test on Tuesday, January 23. Chisum will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 52-46 league loss to Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-10.
