January 30, 2024: Edgewood, TX 75117 In Tuesday's league outing, the Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Chisum Mustangs (Paris, TX), by a count of 45-37.
The Bulldogs (17-12) will now prepare for their outing against Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX). The Indians go into the 3A Region II District 12 outing with a 11-18 record. In their last outing, Grand Saline was topped by Commerce (Commerce, TX), 62-41, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 21-11 record. They play next when they host Prairiland for a 3A Region II District 12 outing on Friday, February 2. Chisum will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 61-42 league loss to Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 9-14.
