The Institute of Tech Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Cortland Purple Tigers to 38 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Binghamton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23.

The Purple Tigers (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mexico (Mexico, NY). The Tigers come into the Section 3 Onondaga - Liberty American contest with a 4-5 record.
