The Cortland Purple Tigers (Cortland, NY) basketball felled the visiting Mexico Tigers (Mexico, NY), 61-50 in Monday's league test.

The Purple Tigers (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Solvay (Solvay, NY). The Bearcats go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Solvay thwarted Red Creek (Red Creek, NY), 77-59, in a non-league test.
