Texas High School Basketball - Geneva crushes John Paul II
January 19, 2024: New Braunfels, TX 78132 Geneva (Boerne, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX), 56-31 in a league bout.
With the victory, Geneva upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The host First Baptist Academy (Universal City, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 10-8. First Baptist Academy won 43-42 in their recent non-league bout against Gloria Deo Academy (Bulverde, TX)
Next up, the Guardians play the John Paul II Centurions (Corpus Christi, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Centurions come into the bout with a 13-18 record after their 61-28 league win over Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX).
