Texas High School Basketball - New Home overwhelms Post
January 19, 2024: Post, TX 79356 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) and the host Post Antelopes (Post, TX), saw New Home's basketball squad wallop Post by a tally of 88-27.
With the victory, New Home improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Childress (Childress, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 19-6. Childress won 62-50 in their recent league challenge against Liberty (Lubbock, TX)
Next up, the Antelopes confront the Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX) in a 2A Region I District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Post will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Roughnecks come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 57-48 league loss to Ropes (Ropesville, TX).
