Wyoming High School Basketball - Shoshoni nips Wind River
January 19, 2024: Shoshoni, WY 82649 Shoshoni Wranglers (Shoshoni, WY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Wind River Cougars (Pavillion, WY), 50-48 in a league bout.
With the victory, Shoshoni upgrades its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Wranglers travel to Rock Springs (Rock Springs, WY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Rock Springs won 78-64 in their recent league bout against Riverton (Riverton, WY)
Next up, the Cougars play the Greybull Buffaloes (Greybull, WY) in a 2A Northwest bout, on Saturday, January 20. Wind River will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Buffaloes come into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 42-35 league win over Rocky Mountain (Cowley, WY).
