January 19, 2024: Loranger, LA 70446 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA) and the visiting Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA), saw Loranger's basketball squad overcome Pearl River by a tally of 62-47.
With the victory, Loranger improves its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Franklinton (Franklinton, LA) to confront the Demons in a 4A District 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Franklinton lost 51-17 in their recent league challenge against Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA)
Next up, the Rebels confront the Our Lady Academy Crescents (Bay St. Louis, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Pearl River will attempt to improve on its 16-4 season record. The Crescents come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 45-38 non-league loss to Vancleave (Vancleave, MS).
