Louisiana High School Basketball - Pearl River crushes Sumner
November 21, 2023: Pearl River, LA 70452 Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA), 53-26 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pearl River upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Rebels travel to Covington (Covington, LA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 22. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Covington lost 61-23 in their recent non-league bout against Salmen (Slidell, LA)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Sumner will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 48-46 non-league win over St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA).
