Kentwood Kangaroos (Kentwood, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA), 58-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kentwood upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Kangaroos travel to Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 10-3. Dunham lost 53-31 in their recent non-league bout against Live Oak (Watson, LA)
