January 19, 2024: Presque Isle, ME 04769 The Presque Isle Wildcats ice hockey squad scored 8 points and restricted the visiting Gardiner Tigers to 2 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Presque Isle moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Messalonskee (Oakland, ME) to face the Eagles in a Class B North contest on Saturday, January 20. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 2-2. Messalonskee lost 2-1 in their recent league contest against Brewer (Brewer, ME)
The Tigers now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Camden Hills for a Class B North contest on Wednesday, January 24. Gardiner will face a Windjammers squad coming off a 5-2 league win over Houlton/Hodgdon (Houlton, ME). The Windjammers record now stands at 5-5.
