The Center Roughriders basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the visiting Spring Hill Panthers to 37 in the Roughriders league victory on Tuesday.

The Roughriders now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilmer for a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 5. Center will battle a Buckeyes team coming off a 62-54 league win over Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Buckeyes record now stands at 2-3.

The Panthers (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region III District 17 contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Chapel Hill was routed by Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX), 68-53, in a non-league contest.
