Georgia High School Basketball - Chapel Hill nips Jackson
January 2, 2024: Atlanta, GA 30316 Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Jackson Jaguars (Atlanta, GA), 74-68 in a league bout.
With the win, Chapel Hill upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Panthers host Banneker (College Park, GA) to play the Trojans in a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Friday, January 5. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Banneker lost 62-45 in their recent league bout against Mays (Atlanta, GA)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 bout, on Friday, January 5. Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 66-55 league win over Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA).
