Georgia High School Basketball - Jackson can't hold off Lithia Springs
January 30, 2024: Atlanta, GA 30316 The Jackson Jaguars basketball team (Atlanta, GA), was nudged 57-55 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA)
The Lions now possess a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Banneker for a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Friday, February 2. Lithia Springs will battle a Trojans team coming off a 70-66 league win over Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-12.
The Jaguars (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Creekside (Fairburn, GA). The Seminoles come into the AAAAA Region 5 battle with a 1-20 record. In their last battle, Creekside was nudged by Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA), 70-55, in a league battle.
