Georgia High School Basketball - Midtown knocked off by Lithia Springs
December 9, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30309 The Lithia Springs Lions basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Midtown Knights to 52 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carrollton for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Lithia Springs will meet a Trojans team coming off a 75-46 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.
The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lovett (Atlanta, GA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Lovett ran past Alpharetta (Alpharetta, GA), 67-57, in a non-league contest.
