Minnesota High School Basketball - Jackson County Central tops Fairmont
January 2, 2024: Fairmont, MN 56031 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jackson County Central Huskies (Jackson, MN) and the host Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN), saw Jackson County Central's basketball squad knock off Fairmont by a tally of 67-47.
With the victory, Jackson County Central improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN) to play the Cardinals in a AA Section 3 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Redwood Valley won 73-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals play the St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Fairmont will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 56-46 non-league win over New Prague (New Prague, MN).
