December 21, 2023: Windom, MN 56101 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Jackson County Central Huskies (Jackson, MN) and the host Windom Eagles (Windom, MN), saw Jackson County Central's basketball squad knock off Windom by a count of 97-80.
With the victory, Jackson County Central upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Huskies host Montevideo (Montevideo, MN) to play the Thunderhawks in a AA Section 3 challenge on Friday, December 29. The Thunderhawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Montevideo won 78-71 in their recent league challenge against New London-Spicer (New London, MN)
Next up, the Eagles play the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints (Kerkhoven, MN) in a AA Section 3 challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Windom will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Fighting Saints come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 58-53 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MN).
