Washington High School Basketball - Washougal ripped by Fort Vancouver
January 2, 2024: Vancouver, WA 98661 The Fort Vancouver Trappers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Washougal Panthers to 39 in the Trappers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trappers now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host R.A. Long for a 2A Greater St. Helens contest on Thursday, January 4. Fort Vancouver will meet a Lumberjacks team coming off a 66-48 league win over Woodland (Woodland, WA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 8-2.
The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mark Morris (Longview, WA). The Monarchs enter the 2A Greater St. Helens contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Mark Morris triumphed over Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA), 73-50, in a league game.
