January 22, 2024: Washougal, WA 98671 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Columbia River Rapids (Vancouver, WA) and the host Washougal Panthers (Washougal, WA), saw Columbia River's basketball squad knock off Washougal by a count of 75-59.
With the victory, Columbia River upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Rapids travel to R.A. Long (Longview, WA) to play the Lumberjacks in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. R.A. Long won 73-21 in their recent league challenge against Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Woodland Beavers (Woodland, WA) in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Washougal will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 54-51 league loss to Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA).
