January 2, 2024: Barksdale, TX 78828 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Rocksprings Angoras (Rocksprings, TX) and the host Nueces Canyon Panthers (Barksdale, TX), saw Rocksprings's basketball squad wallop Nueces Canyon by a tally of 76-39.
With the victory, Rocksprings improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Angoras travel to Knippa (Knippa, TX) to confront the Crushers in a 1A Region IV District 31 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Crushers come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Knippa won 71-65 in their recent league challenge against Medina (Medina, TX)
Next up, the Panthers confront the D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Nueces Canyon will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 58-51 league loss to Utopia (Utopia, TX).
