Missouri High School Basketball - Winnetonka overwhelms Odessa
January 2, 2024: Kansas City, MO 64119 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Winnetonka Griffins (Kansas City, MO) and the visiting Odessa Bulldogs (Odessa, MO), saw Winnetonka's basketball squad wallop Odessa by a tally of 86-30.
With the victory, Winnetonka improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Central (Kansas City, MO) to confront the Blue Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Blue Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Central won 60-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty North (Liberty, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Marshall Owls (Marshall, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Odessa will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 56-44 non-league loss to Carthage (Carthage, MO).
