Missouri High School Basketball - Winnetonka trounces Excelsior Springs
January 30, 2024: Excelsior Springs, MO 64024 The Winnetonka Griffins (Kansas City, MO) basketball crushed the host Excelsior Springs Tigers (Excelsior Springs, MO), 71-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Griffins (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Paseo Academy of Performing Arts (Kansas City, MO). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Paseo Academy of Performing Arts was trounced by Metro Academy (Shawnee Mission, KS), 73-68, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Platte for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 31. Excelsior Springs will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 87-77 non-league win over St. Joseph Christian (St. Joseph, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 14-5.
